2021 Santa Clara County World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year, honoring its 33rd year in 2021. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day. 这是一个 opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against 艾滋病毒, to show support for the estimated 38 million people living with 艾滋病毒, 和 to honor the more than 36 million those who have died from a AIDS-related illness.
In Santa Clara County we will honor World AIDS Day's 33rd year by hosting in-person 和 virtual public events, open to every一个 to attend, as we honor 和 commemorate all those who are impacted 和 those who have died from 一种与艾滋病有关的疾病. People living with 艾滋病毒 are our neighbors, our friends, our coworkers, 和 our family. While the days where 艾滋病毒 meant a certain death sentence are behind us, we are not d一个 fighting until the disease is eradicated. Let’s End 艾滋病毒/艾滋病 Together!
